Chapter 28: Goo Hwi quickly goes back to pretending to be unconscious. He thinks back to the past to try to confirm that the cloth Yongbi used is Sohee's underclothes. It is revealed that Elder Myeong had bought Sohee her underclothes when she was a child and it was said to be the only one in the world with that particular pattern. Eventually, Yongbi discovers that Goo Hwi is awake.
Later, a group of martial artists examine the bodies of the men Yongbi had killed before, noting that they are from the Tramps Sect. After discovering that one of the members of the Tramps Sect wrote "East" into the dirt, they erase it and head off in that direction. Then Hwan-Ryeong and Mi-Ryeong shows up, revealing that they were the ones that wrote "East" into the dirt to mislead the martial artists pursuing Yongbi. After rewriting the directions, they quickly hide as another groups of martial artists show up.
At an abandoned house, Yongbi settles down for the night. Goo Hwi angrily questions him on how he obtained Sohee's underclothes and Yongbi gives him a vague answer. At that, Goo Hwi screams with grief.
